Orbit no incluirá sus novelas en el Hugo Voter Packet

La editorial Orbit ha anunciado que no incluirá sus novelas completas en el Hugo Voter Packet, en una sorprendente decisión que está generando polémica. Recordemos que son TRES las novelas publicadas por Orbit que estaban entre los nominados al Hugo, Parasite, Neptune’s Brood y Ancillary Justice

Sorprende el contraste con la elección de Tor, que incluirá todos los libros que forman La Rueda del Tiempo en el Hugo Voter Packet. ¿Da Orbit por perdido el premio? ¿Se trata de una decisión cortoplazista? De lo que no cabe duda es que el debate está servido.

The magicians será una serie en SyFy

syfyEl canal SyFy está desarrollando una serie basada en el libro “The magicians” de Lev Grossman. No ha transcendido mucha más información, pero teniendo en cuenta que en agosto se publicará la tercera parte de la serie, resulta una excelente promoción para los libros, que son más que recomendables. Aunque quizá me gustaría más que fuera otro canal el que creara la serie, porque después de “Sharknado” me espero cualquier cosa.
